Aditi Sudhir Pohankar as Bhumika Pardeshi

Aditi Sudhir Pohankar plays Bhumika Pardeshi, commonly called Bhumi, a Mumbai police constable whose life changes after she is chosen for an undercover assignment. At the beginning, Bhumi is quiet, financially burdened and unsure of her own authority. The operation forces her into unfamiliar situations and exposes her to people who constantly test her confidence and judgment. Across the two seasons, her transformation becomes the central story as she learns to use the role created for the mission on her own terms, even when that puts her loyalty to the police under question.

Vijay Varma as Sasya

Vijay Varma plays Sasya, a member of the drug network targeted by the police in the first season. He becomes the first major criminal figure Bhumi must approach while undercover. Sasya quickly recognises that she is inexperienced, and their encounters place her in situations where the police plan is repeatedly at risk. His interrogation and later cooperation with the authorities also provide the route through which the investigation begins moving towards the more powerful Nayak.

Vishwas Kini as Jason Fernandez

Vishwas Kini appears as Jason Fernandez, the police officer closely involved in handling Bhumi’s undercover operation. Fernandez sees her as an important link in the effort to reach the drug network, but he also has to judge whether she can remain reliable while working so deeply inside it. In the second season, his doubts grow as Bhumi’s reports and behaviour become harder to read, making the relationship between officer and informant increasingly tense.

Kishore Kumar G. as Nayak

Kishore Kumar G. plays Nayak, the powerful drug kingpin the police ultimately want Bhumi to reach. Unlike Sasya, Nayak enters the story as a larger and more elusive target. His connection with Bhumi becomes more complicated than a routine undercover contact, particularly in the second season when she is drawn further into his operation. Nayak’s plans, suspicion and influence create the main criminal threat around which the later episodes are built.

Shivani Rangole as Rupa

Shivani Rangole plays Rupa, Bhumi’s younger sister. Rupa gives the series an important view of Bhumi’s home life, which is already difficult before the undercover mission begins. Their relationship is affected by financial pressure, family arguments and Bhumi’s changing personality. Rupa’s presence helps keep the story connected to the everyday responsibilities Bhumi continues to carry while living a dangerous second life.

Suhita Thatte as Bhumi’s Mother

Suhita Thatte appears as Bhumi’s mother. She is part of the family situation that leaves Bhumi carrying much of the household responsibility. Scenes at home show the contrast between Bhumi’s modest personal life and the increasingly risky criminal world she enters through police work. This family setting also helps explain why the changes in Bhumi are noticed most clearly by the people closest to her.

Paritosh Sand as Sirish Mathur

Paritosh Sand plays Sirish Mathur, a senior police figure connected with the investigation in the first season. His role places Bhumi’s assignment within the wider law-enforcement operation rather than presenting it as an isolated mission. The officers around Bhumi are constantly balancing the need to reach higher-level criminals with the danger of keeping an inexperienced constable inside the network.

Sam Mohan as Dileep Nambiar

Sam Mohan appears as Dileep Nambiar in the second season. His character becomes part of the expanded criminal and investigative landscape after Bhumi returns to Mumbai and resumes her undercover work. The second season widens the operation beyond the first contact with Sasya and focuses more directly on the movement of Nayak’s organisation, its intermediaries and the people affected by it.

Mohammad Ali Baig as DCP Alam

Mohammad Ali Baig plays DCP Alam in the second season. As a senior police officer, he becomes involved as the authorities try to understand Nayak’s network and the information coming from Bhumi. His presence reflects the growing scale of the investigation once the operation moves beyond its original target and the police begin tracking a larger trafficking structure.

Other notable cast members include:

  • Resh Lamba as Durga

She Web Series Story

The story begins with Bhumika Pardeshi, a constable living a difficult life in Mumbai while supporting her family and dealing with problems in her personal relationships. She is not the obvious choice for a high-risk undercover job, but the police select her for an operation designed to reach Sasya, a member of a drug cartel. To get close to him, Bhumi has to adopt a false identity and enter an environment far removed from her normal life.

The first operation does not go exactly as planned. Sasya senses Bhumi’s uncertainty and repeatedly tests her, but the experience also reveals a side of herself that she has rarely been able to express. As the police continue using her undercover, the mission stops being only about catching one criminal. Sasya becomes a possible route to Nayak, the far more dangerous figure believed to be controlling the larger drug operation.

Bhumi’s growing confidence creates a conflict that runs through the series. The police need her to remain convincing enough to survive inside the network, but every successful step requires her to move further away from the person they first recruited. Her family also begins to see changes in her. The show uses these parallel worlds – the police station, her home and the criminal network – to show how difficult it becomes for Bhumi to separate the role she is playing from the identity she is developing.

Season 2 begins after Bhumi’s contact with Nayak has become much more important. She returns to Mumbai and resumes working with the police, but Fernandez suspects that she is withholding information. At the same time, Nayak expects loyalty from her. Bhumi therefore operates between two sides that are both watching her closely, while neither fully knows what she intends to do next.

The investigation expands as the police try to trace Nayak’s trafficking and distribution system. Bhumi gains greater access to his operation and begins taking decisions with consequences beyond the original mission. The central tension is no longer simply whether she can deceive a criminal organisation. It becomes a question of whether Bhumi is still acting for the police, for Nayak, or increasingly for herself.

What Kind of Series Is She?

She is primarily a crime drama and psychological thriller built around undercover police work, identity and personal transformation. The criminal investigation provides the external plot, but much of the series focuses on how Bhumika changes after she enters a role that gives her a kind of confidence and control she did not previously have.

The series is intended for mature audiences and includes violence, sexual situations, threatening behaviour and dark themes. It is less interested in presenting a straightforward police procedural than in following the blurred line between an undercover identity and the person living behind it. That focus on Bhumi’s shifting loyalties and sense of self gives the two-season story its distinctive character.
