FLAMES is a Hindi coming-of-age romantic drama that follows teenagers as they move through first love, friendship, tuition classes, family expectations and the pressure of choosing a future. Set largely around Sunshine Tuition Centre in Delhi, the series keeps its focus on everyday emotions rather than turning the romance into an exaggerated love story.
Ritvik Sahore and Tanya Maniktala lead the series as Rajat and Ishita, while Sunakshi Grover, Shhivam Kakar and Deepesh Sumitra Jagdish form the other core characters. The show ran for four seasons between 2018 and 2023, with 20 regular episodes in total.

FLAMES Web Series Cast
Ritvik Sahore as Rajat
Ritvik Sahore plays Rajat, the shy and academically serious teenager at the centre of the story. His attraction to Ishita begins at Sunshine Tuition Centre and gradually develops into a relationship that has to survive misunderstandings, exams, parental expectations and questions about what happens after school.
Tanya Maniktala as Ishita
Tanya Maniktala plays Ishita, Rajat’s classmate and love interest. Ishita is warm but independent, and the series gives her ambitions and family concerns a place alongside the romance. As the seasons progress, her relationship with Rajat becomes more mature and is tested by grief, studies and plans for the future.
Sunakshi Grover as Anusha
Sunakshi Grover appears as Anusha, Ishita’s close friend and Pandu’s love interest. Her relationship with Pandu develops in parallel with Rajat and Ishita’s story, giving the series a second view of teenage romance, jealousy and growing responsibility.
Shhivam Kakar as Gaurav Pandey/Pandu
Shhivam Kakar plays Gaurav Pandey, better known as Pandu. He is Rajat’s close friend and one of the show’s main comic personalities. Beneath the humour, Pandu also deals with insecurity, academics and the question of what he wants to do after school.
Deepesh Sumitra Jagdish as Pradeep Kaushal
Deepesh Sumitra Jagdish plays Pradeep Kaushal, popularly known as Kaushal Sir. He runs Sunshine Tuition Centre and becomes more than a teacher to the students. His advice, personal struggles and efforts to keep the tuition centre running remain an important part of all four seasons.

FLAMES Web Series Story
FLAMES begins when Ishita joins Sunshine Tuition Centre, where Rajat quickly develops a crush on her. At the same time, his friend Pandu is interested in Anusha. The early episodes capture the awkwardness of first attraction, secret conversations, small misunderstandings and the excitement of spending time together outside class.
As Rajat and Ishita become closer, their relationship starts facing more realistic problems. Parents discover things they were not meant to know, studies become more demanding and emotional losses affect the way the teenagers respond to one another. Pandu and Anusha also move beyond a simple crush and begin dealing with jealousy and insecurity.
By Season 3, the group has entered Class 12. Rajat wants to repair his relationship with Ishita, while she prefers to move carefully. Sunshine Tuition Centre also faces difficulties, and Kaushal Sir has to manage professional as well as personal pressure.
Season 4 takes the characters towards board examinations and the end of school. Rajat and Ishita have to think about careers and the possibility that their future plans may take them in different directions. Pandu becomes more serious about academics, while Anusha gains greater clarity about her own career path. The final season therefore shifts the story from simply falling in love to understanding whether a teenage relationship can grow alongside changing ambitions.

What Kind of Series Is FLAMES?
FLAMES is primarily a coming-of-age romance, but its appeal comes from the ordinary details around the love story: tuition classes, school friendships, marks, parents, career choices and the fear of leaving familiar people behind.
Across four seasons, Rajat and Ishita grow from teenagers dealing with a first crush into students forced to make more adult decisions. Pandu, Anusha and Kaushal Sir give the story its wider emotional world, allowing the series to treat friendship and growing up as seriously as romance.
