Raveena Tandon as Indrani Kothari

Raveena Tandon plays Indrani Kothari, a powerful socialite who dominates the glamorous Alibaug circle. She is protective of the Kothari name, deeply conscious of status and accustomed to controlling both family matters and public perception. Karma’s arrival unsettles her because the newcomer refuses to behave like someone impressed by the Kotharis. As the story develops, Indrani becomes increasingly suspicious that Karma’s interest in her family is not accidental.

Namrata Sheth as Karma Talwar / Ambika Mehra

Namrata Sheth plays Karma Talwar, the young woman who moves into a bungalow next to the Kothari mansion. Behind the polished public identity is Ambika Mehra, daughter of Satyajeet Mehra. Her father was framed in a major financial fraud case years earlier, and the consequences destroyed Ambika’s childhood. She returns to Alibaug with a plan to punish the people she believes were responsible, making her the driving force of the series.

Varun Sood as Ahaan Kothari

Varun Sood appears as Ahaan Kothari, the son of Indrani and Kaushal Kothari. Ahaan is drawn towards Karma soon after she enters their social circle, and their growing relationship becomes useful to her revenge plan. At the same time, genuine emotions begin complicating what was supposed to be a calculated move. His disagreements with his parents also expose tensions inside the seemingly perfect Kothari family.

Vikramjeet Virk as Sameer

Vikramjeet Virk plays Sameer, Indrani’s trusted security chief. He acts as one of her strongest protectors and starts investigating Karma when Indrani senses danger. Sameer’s loyalty makes him an important obstacle for Karma because he is willing to follow leads that others ignore. His investigation eventually brings him close to discovering the truth behind her identity and motive.

Gaurav Sharma as Kaushal Kothari

Gaurav Sharma plays Kaushal Kothari, Indrani’s husband and a key figure in Kothari Global. The family’s wealth and standing are closely connected with him, but his past contains secrets that give Karma several opportunities to create cracks inside the household. His personal decisions, including his connection with Dolly, become part of the larger chain of events that Karma uses against the family.

Devangshi Sen as Mira Kothari

Devangshi Sen appears as Mira Kothari, the daughter of Indrani and Kaushal. Mira is part of the privileged world Karma enters, but her relationship with her mother is not always easy. As the revenge plan progresses, existing family tensions become more visible and Mira is pulled into conflicts she does not fully understand.

Rohit Roy as Satyajeet Mehra

Rohit Roy plays Satyajeet Mehra, Ambika’s father. Although much of his story belongs to the past, his fate is the emotional foundation of the series. Satyajeet was once connected with Kothari Global and was blamed for a financial crime. Ambika grows up believing he was wronged, and the letters and memories associated with him become the reason she returns to settle old scores.

Karmma Calling Web Series Story

The story begins when Karma Talwar arrives in Alibaug and rents a property beside the Kothari mansion. To the wealthy people around her, she appears to be another successful young woman entering their exclusive social world. In reality, she has come with a very specific purpose. Karma is actually Ambika Mehra, the daughter of Satyajeet Mehra, and she believes her father was deliberately framed in a financial fraud case many years earlier.

Ambika’s childhood was shattered after her father’s conviction and imprisonment. As an adult, she builds a new identity and returns to the same world that once destroyed her family. Rather than confronting everyone at once, she targets people one by one. Each target is connected in some way with her father’s downfall or with the lies that shaped her childhood.

The Kotharis are at the centre of her plan. Indrani and Kaushal appear to have everything – money, influence, a large business empire and social power. Karma begins entering their private world through Ahaan. What starts as manipulation becomes more complicated when Ahaan develops real feelings for her and Karma herself finds it difficult to keep personal emotions separate from revenge.

Meanwhile, Indrani becomes increasingly uncomfortable with Karma’s presence. Sameer is asked to investigate her, while secrets involving Dolly, Nikhil Sethia and other figures from the past begin returning to the surface. Karma succeeds in damaging reputations and relationships, but every move also increases the risk that her real identity will be exposed.

The series gradually turns the revenge plan into a larger question about how far Ambika is willing to go. She wants justice for her father, but the methods she uses begin affecting people who were not directly responsible for what happened. By the final episodes, her mission is no longer a simple list of targets. Love, loyalty, hidden identities and old betrayals make the situation far more dangerous than she expected.

What Kind of Series Is Karmma Calling?

Karmma Calling is a revenge drama with elements of psychological thriller, mystery and high-society family drama. The series is less about action and more about manipulation, hidden motives, relationships and the slow exposure of old secrets. Its Alibaug setting gives the story a polished and wealthy surface, while the plot underneath is driven by betrayal and resentment.

Raveena Tandon’s Indrani and Namrata Sheth’s Karma form the central opposition. One represents a powerful family determined to protect its position; the other enters that world with the intention of breaking it from inside. With seven episodes, the first season keeps the focus on Karma’s revenge plan while leaving several personal and family conflicts unresolved by the end.
