Crushed Web Series Cast & Crew, Story, OTT Platform

Crushed is a Hindi coming-of-age romantic drama set around the students of Lucknow Central Convent School. The series follows teenagers who are dealing with first love, friendship, jealousy, academic pressure and the awkward process of discovering who they want to become. Rather than focusing on a single romance, the story grows with its characters across several school years and allows friendships and relationships to change naturally over time.

Rudhraksh Jaiswal and Aadhya Anand play Samvidhan and Aadhya, two of the most important characters in the series. Naman Jain, Urvi Singh, Anupriya Caroli, Arjun Deswal, Chirag Katrecha and Sachin Singh form the wider student group. Crushed began streaming in January 2022 and eventually ran for four seasons, ending with its fourth and final season in February 2024.

Crushed Web Series Cast

Rudhraksh Jaiswal as Samvidhan Sharma

Rudhraksh Jaiswal plays Samvidhan Sharma, usually called Sam. He begins the series as a schoolboy who often sees himself as the sidekick rather than the person at the centre of attention. His feelings for Jasmine initially shape many of his decisions, but his growing bond with Aadhya becomes one of the strongest emotional threads of the show. Sam’s journey is about confidence, friendship, mistakes and learning to communicate honestly as he grows older.

Aadhya Anand as Aadhya Mathur

Aadhya Anand plays Aadhya Mathur, an intelligent and strong-willed student who is closely connected with Jasmine and Zoya. At first, she too feels like someone living in another person’s shadow, but the series gradually gives her an independent emotional journey. Her changing relationship with Samvidhan, later complications involving Samarth and the pressure of school life make her one of the central characters across all four seasons.

Naman Jain as Prateek

Naman Jain appears as Prateek, Samvidhan’s close friend and one of the most humorous personalities in the group. He frequently becomes involved in the gang’s plans, misunderstandings and school adventures. Beneath the comedy, Prateek also deals with academic pressure, friendship problems and the fear of being left behind as everyone around him changes.

Urvi Singh as Jasmine

Urvi Singh plays Jasmine, often called Jaz. She is popular at school and initially becomes the object of Samvidhan’s crush. As the story moves forward, Jasmine develops beyond that early role and becomes important to the friendship dynamics involving Aadhya and Zoya. Her feelings, competitiveness and changing relationships create several conflicts within the group.

Anupriya Caroli as Zoya

Anupriya Caroli plays Zoya, a close friend of Aadhya and Jasmine. Zoya is outspoken and emotionally expressive, and she often becomes the person who says what others are avoiding. Her friendships and personal experiences add another layer to the show’s portrayal of teenage insecurity, loyalty and changing priorities.

Arjun Deswal as Sahil

Arjun Deswal appears as Sahil, a confident student who becomes deeply involved in school activities and the group’s social life. His equations with Jasmine and the others change through competitions, friendships and romantic confusion. Sahil’s character is especially important when the series expands from personal crushes to teamwork and larger school events.

Chirag Katrecha as Samarth

Chirag Katrecha plays Samarth, who becomes a major part of Aadhya’s life after the first season. His arrival changes the emotional balance of the series and creates a new relationship arc that continues through later seasons. Samarth is not treated simply as a rival to Samvidhan; his own expectations, insecurities and choices shape the direction of Aadhya’s story.

Sachin Singh as Rajat

Sachin Singh plays Rajat, another member of the wider student circle. His friendships and romantic experiences become more prominent as the show progresses, particularly when the characters begin facing more complicated feelings and questions about trust. He helps broaden the series beyond the original Samvidhan-Aadhya storyline.

Other notable cast members include:

  • Tanya Sharma as Tanya Lekhi
  • Preeti Chauhan as Vandita, Aadhya’s mother
  • Siddhant Raj Tripathi as Tanmay
  • Shubham Pandey as Ashok Sir
  • Manisha Mehra as Farah Ma’am
  • Narendra Panjwani as Father Lawrence

Crushed Web Series Story

Crushed begins at Lucknow Central Convent School, where Samvidhan Sharma enters Class 9 hoping that he will finally get noticed by Jasmine, the girl he has admired from a distance. His plans quickly become complicated when he clashes with Jasmine’s friend Aadhya. What starts as irritation between Samvidhan and Aadhya slowly develops into friendship and then into feelings neither of them fully understands.

The first season uses school events, friendships and crushes to show how teenagers often compare themselves with the people around them. Samvidhan and Aadhya both begin as characters who feel like sidekicks in someone else’s story. Their connection becomes important because each gradually starts seeing the other as an individual rather than simply as a friend attached to someone more popular.

Season 2 moves the students into a new phase after the summer break. The Celesta inter-school cultural festival gives Sahil and the group a common goal, while Aadhya’s personal life changes with the arrival of Samarth. Jasmine, Zoya, Prateek and the others also face new emotional complications. Friendships that once seemed simple become harder to maintain as romantic feelings and competition enter the picture.

Season 3 takes the group away from Lucknow for the Young Tarang exchange programme in Dehradun. The new setting gives the characters more independence, but it also exposes cracks in existing relationships. Aadhya and Samarth struggle with distance and expectations, while the others form new friendships and face situations that force them to think more seriously about who they are becoming.

The fourth and final season brings the students back to Lucknow Central Convent and continues after Samvidhan’s return. Old feelings between Sam and Aadhya remain unresolved, while Prateek, Jasmine, Zoya, Sahil and Rajat deal with their own academic and personal problems. With school moving towards farewells and future choices, the final episodes focus less on simply having a crush and more on whether the characters can repair friendships, accept change and move ahead with greater maturity.

What Kind of Series Is Crushed?

Crushed is primarily a coming-of-age teen drama with romance and comedy. Its school setting gives the series a light and familiar surface, but the continuing format allows it to explore insecurity, friendship, first relationships, jealousy, exams, changing ambitions and the fear of growing apart from people who once felt permanent.

The four-season structure is one of the show’s defining features because the characters are allowed to change rather than remain fixed in their original roles. What starts as a story about school crushes gradually becomes a broader story about growing up, repairing relationships and accepting that friendships and love can look different as people mature.
